Lowes Foods - Bad produce
Every visit to the Walkertown location I have taken molded produce to the checkout and pointed out that this is an ongoing issue and nothing has been done ...strawberries blackberries are left on the shelves molded. this is a health hazard!

Clayton, NC - Last place I go to shop, over charges for items, I have had to ask employees what something in store was priced at because no labeling was on several items, their app will not work in the store near me because their internet is terrible.

Bad service

I was shopping today (about 1:00 pm) at the Lowes grocery store for a bouquet Mothers Day flowers a day before Mothers Day,and I was told that the associate was at lunch and would be back in two minutes. She arrived within two minutes and i asked her if i could get a bouquet of flowers like i had just seen a man purchase.

I was told that i could but she was too busy and could not make the arrangement. I was shocked because she worked in the flower department, and Mothers day is tomorrow.

Not only did Lowes miss out on the 50.00 sales price of the flowers, they missed out on the shopping I was about to spend in the store, and the store next to it missed out also because I went to pub lix and bought flowers and groceries, and shopped in the nearby stores like i would have done there,IF SHE HAD TIME.

Moved cart storage from handicap parking area

Have severe breathing problem so it was helpful having carts adjacent to handicap parking ..used as a walker to make walking easier and to carry portable 7LB oxygen machine now they are no where near WHY ? Also do not like Any of the changes inside the store ..just makes it much more difficult to find things Leave layout alone it was just fine ,

Deli subs are sub par

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bought a sub for lunch. The bread was stale and low quality. It was out of date (yesterday). I guess I should have checked. When compared with Harris Teeter subs absolute garbage. AND it was 5.99. A rip off. I'm sticking with Teeter or Publix.

You guys are thieves.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
You charged outrageous amounts and use deceptive marketing. An item marked 5.99 and I was charged 6.99. Cashier never explained process and neither was I offered use of courtesy card. I was treated quite badly. Also on a BOGO of chips I was over charged another 4.29. I expected better. I will counsel all family and friends and co-workers to not shop with you.

The store had posted prices which only in very small print stated that to received stated prices you had to have a discount card, when I checked out this was not mentioned nor was a card offered.furthermore when I called back no one would take my complaint.

Fish not fresh

Don't buy fish from Lowes Food store in Little River SC. I had a bad experience, sales person actually smelled the fish before selling it to me, when I asked him why he smelled it, he said to make sure it was fresh. Brought home a piece of salmon and a piece of Tilapia. Had salmon first night, all was fine. Opened the refrigerator next day to cook Tilapia and the smell was horrible!!! Had to throw it away, couldn't even imagine driving it back to the store in my car, wasn't worth it! I had a friend just the other day said she bought a bad piece of Cod, I asked her where she bought it, she said Lowes in Little River. They must buy too much or keep it past expiration. They should be ashamed! Actually the incident and how it was handled made me stop shopping there all together!

Rancid meet

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I opened meat from lowes the same day I bought it. It was rancid so I took a picture and threw it away since I did not think anyone would want me to bring rancid meat back. That would actually be dangerous. I did not have a receipt because of covid 19 and did not want to take it. Also, I know that they have electronically stored receipts because I have a lowes account. Needless to say I took my picture of the barcode and asked the manager to look up the receipt. He confirmed he could do that but that he could not give a refund because I did not physically bring the meat to the store nor have the receipt. I frequent this lowes every week and this is the first time I even saw this manager. He also just walked away from me. He provided no customer service and I paid for a product that was unknowingly rotten. Come on. Step up your game lowes. With such high prices, perhaps customer service should be a positive.

I had the same experience with a Lowes Foods ribeye steak that I purchased but didn’t bother with the return process. Cooked a day after purchasing and the steak had a disgusting rotten gamey flavor.

Steak was properly refrigerated and well within the sell-by date. Not buying their overpriced steak again.

Their competitors have never let me down and this was my first experience with Lowes steak so it’s given me a really bad first impression. Another cut of meat I bought was fine but I’m understandably turned off by their meat and not taking the chance again.

Lowes foods CAROLINA CRATE

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Tried the Carolina Crate paid 125.00 for 5 weeks. I just got my first box and it came with 1 red cabbage (good) strawberries ( not so good ) sweet potatoes 3 .( good ) 2 ears corn small 1 had about 20 % corn on ear other 80 % missing, ear 2 ( small but really good ) squash large ( not sure how this will turn out ) I usually throw this out of my garden. Red onions 2 ( looks ok ) This is not $25.00 worth of food. If I push it I see $17,00 worth of produce here at best. The people at the store I go to are great and very helpful. The store is clean and well taken care of. The problem is the Crate nothing else.

Refund policy

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My wife inadvertently/incorrectly purchased 4 bottle of hand sanitizer @ $6 each (6x4=$24). The very next day I attempted to return (unopened/still sealed). I was informed "NO REFUNDS", this was not a food product & was sealed from the manufacturer !!! Our family shops at Lowes Food 3 to 4 times per week - until now !! I shall NEVER enter Lowes Foods again, there are many other sources to shop at in the future. By the way I left (the product) with the customer rep & proceeded to watch her return to the shelf a short time later !!!!!!!

If you had not mentioned that you have a wife I would have thought you were a little kid throwing a temper tantrum because you did not want to follow the rules Your wife is a hoarder and you are not entitled to a refund. Blame your wife for overspending.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I want to make an online order with willing to pay the delivery fee. Unfortunately the app didn't allow me to do that unless I paid $99 for the year. Lowe's I frequent your store. I wanted place my online order today for pick up. Unfortunately your app does not me allowed to do that for the 4.95 you're charging You are requesting me under the coronavirus to pay you $99 or &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;amp;16.95 per month. I couldn't place my order without these outrageous fees during a 100-year time that these things happen. You have disappointed me so much that I will continue shopping at Publix andKroger.

Poor Customer Service at a difficult time.

King North Carolina we ordered our food took several days to get it but that was not a problem. We arrived to pick our foods up and there was a button to push.

Most of the other stores you call in and they bring food out. We used a object to push the button because my husband has diabetes and we don't want to risk his exposure. The woman that brought the food out had no mask on and she wanted him to roll down the window and sign for the groceries. We had just witnessed a kid standing outside with the Lowes shirt on coughing his head off.

So my husband kindly ask her to sign it for him. She kept saying roll down your window and sign and he said mam please sign that for me.

She was obviously angry and signed it angrily and said this is ridiculous humiliating him. She threw the groceries in the cart and went storming back into the store no thank you or have a nice day.

As a result, we will not buy groceries at that store again we will go back to our Food Lion store where the customer service so far has been really good.
